Having a unique and interesting business card can be a huge advantage when networking with potential clients or business partners. It is important to differentiate yourself from the competition even when your not physically present so a business card is an effective and affordable way to do so. The tough part is trying to design a professional and unique looking business card as it can become really expensive if you decide to hire a graphic designer to do so.
Here is where the gold of this post is. The website above that acts as a marketplace for graphic designers to sell their finished templates for consumers to purchase. For example, if you are a photographer you can find dozens of business cards that are extremely appealing designed specifically for photographers. This is true with practically any type of business from plumbers, to web designers, to real estate agents, and the list goes on.
The best part about these templates are that you can simply purchase and download the file (this usually runs between $4-$12 depending on the template), make a few small changes in a photo editing program like Photoshop (changes are usually adding in personal details or adding a logo), and then within only a few clicks upload the template directly to a online printing service such as VistaPrint.
You can literally purchase, customer, and order a unique and professional business card all within a 30 minute time span. I will showcasing my own personal business card in an upcoming review of VistaPrint in which I followed the same procedure above that resulted in a really cool looking business card. Check the templates out for yourself since you will likely find one that matches your business perfectly!
