Cisco has officially left the consumer networking market after agreeing to sell the popular Linksys brand to previous competitor Belkin. Cisco has really struggled in the past in the consumer electronics market as their real bread and butter is catering to the business market so this will likely be a better result for both parties. The final figure of the selling price is not known at this time, but sources say the agreement is to be completely finalized and complete by March.Where Belkin brings the Linksys brand in the future is up in the air, but our hopes are they will make something great of it for the consumers benefit.
