Microsoft officially released their Windows 10 operating system on July 29th and has already amassed 75 million users in only 29 days. This impressive statistic was made live this morning by way of Yusuf Mehdi, Corporate Vice President of the Windows and Devices Group within the Microsoft Corporation:

Comparing this statistic to Windows 8, it took Microsoft six months to sell 100 million licenses although these two aren't directly comparable since Windows 10 was released as a free upgrade for those eligible. Another interesting stat coming from the series of tweets is that Windows 10 apps are being downloaded six times more than Windows 8 apps.
