Back in February, HTC announced their new flagship smartphone, the HTC One. The device was originally stated to be carried by AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile exclusively, but Verizon spoke up back in June stating they will be offering the device “later this summer” as well. This is fairly late in the game since AT&T and Sprint started shipping the One back in April, but it is certainly better late than never.
While the final release date of the Verizon HTC One is still unknown, the company did manage to put up a “sign-up” page this morning allowing interested customers the chance to enter their e-mail in exchange for the latest information and updates involving the HTC One for Verizon. Another mystery involving the situation is the lack of information on the cost of the device with a two-year agreement, but my guess is that it would match the $200 that AT&T and Sprint offer for the standard 32GB model.
Stay tuned for any new details as they are announced!
