Toshiba has unveiled a new line of SDHC memory cards that are capable of some of the fastest read and write speeds in the industry. The Exceria Pro cards are capable of 260MB/s reading speeds and 240MB/s writing speeds which is far superior to the Sandisk Extreme's 50MB/s speeds that we are used to here at TheTechReviewer. Along with the Pro model, Toshiba will also offer the standard Exceria model that are capable of 120MB/s speeds.
Both models will be offered in 16GB and 32GB models. The Pro cards will not be sold until their launch in October and the standard model will launch in November. Pricing details are not known at this time, but you can expect the price to be significantly higher than the slower cards on the market.
