‘Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege’ To Be Released In October 2015

Ubisoft's long-awaited release of The Division has been postponed yet again until 2016, but that isn't stopping the company from releasing a new flagship title this calendar year. According to a new trailer uploaded this morning, Tom Clancy's Rainbox Six Siege will be available for purchase on October 13th, 2015.

The 57-second teaser doesn't give us much more information about the title, but according to the Amazon pre-order page, the game is based around a five versus five game mode where one team's object is to fortify a base while another tries to infiltrate. You can choose from twenty different “operators” which each harness a unique ability. The playable environments are highly versatile with the option to shatter walls and breach floors, similar to that of the Battlefield series.

You can now pre-order the title for the PS4, Xbox One, or PC via Amazon and those who pre-pay will be guaranteed access to the closed beta that is planned to take place in the near future.
