Time Warner Cable is a popular cable service provider who has pleased many subscribers by providing a live streaming app for iOS devices. The cable company has now announced a new expansion to these live streaming capabilities, an Xbox 360 application that will allow you to get access to over 300 live television channels with no cable box required. However, Xbox 360 owners who want to use the Time Warner Cable app will be required to have a Xbox Live Gold membership as well as an active Time Warner Cable subscription.

Our partnership with TWC enhances all that is available on Xbox 360 today, which will we continue expand. We’re thrilled to offer TWC TV to U.S. Xbox Live members and Time Warner Cable subscribers.

Channels that have already been confirmed for live streaming include:
- BBC World News
- Cartoon Network
- Comedy Central
- Food Network
The app is set to be released later this summer (no exact date has been announced) and available for download directly through your Xbox 360 via the Xbox Live Marketplace.
