Earlier today they announced their Pro Series which is geared for users who don't mind dishing out a little bit more cash for a sleeker, more robust design and better performance. The Pro Series is comprised of the Tile Style and Tile Sport.
Both models are based off the popular Tile Mate's design with a square shape along with a corner hole for a keyring or lanyard attachment. One the best changes to the Pro Series is the addition of a waterproof design which is a lifesaver should your device accidentally get wet (my Tile Mate's sound stopped working after my keys got accidentally wet).
Both of these Pro models offer twice the Bluetooth range of their previous generation tiles (given you are pairing with a smartphone that utilizes the latest Bluetooth LE standards) along with double the sound output at up to 98 decibels. Battery life is unchanged between either model although Tile does offer their reTile program for replacing dead units at a discounted cost.
For those looking for an elegant and eye-catching design, the Tile Style hits the mark with an excellent balance of form and function. The design is a slim and sleek with white and champagne accents measuring in at 37.5 x 37.5 x 5.9mm and weighing just 11 grams.
Offering a more masculine look, the Tile Sport offers a rugged, waterproof design that protects the powerful Bluetooth tracker while looking sleek and appealing. Due to the more robust design, the exterior of the Sport model is covered by a dark slate and graphite shell that adds a bit more bulk measuring in at a slightly larger 40 x 40 x 5.9mm and weighing 15 grams.
Pricing for both models is $35 per Tile with a discounted two-pack available for $60. Currently, the Pro Series is only available via the Tile website and will ship immediately
