According to sources, the popular wireless carrier T-Mobile is rumored to be shifting their business model to entirely no contract as early as March 24th. The exact details of how this change would pan out are not currently known mainly due to the fact that it has not been officially confirmed by the company itself. Further rumors suggests that T-Mobile would ditch any early termination fees and that the carrier will offer a monthly installment plan on future phone purchases ranging in the $25 to $30 vicinity. If this were the case, subsidies on new handset purchases would no longer a part of the plan as they used to be when signing up for a 2 year contract.  Instead, they will focus on their value plans that allow customers to pay for their service month by month or bring their own unlocked devices.
