Sprint with be joining the growing amount of cell phone providers who are offering a no commitment pay as you go service plan. According to AndroidPolice.com, they will be offering the service come January 25th of this year. The downfall of this service is that is only supports 4 cellphone models with two of them smartphones and frankly it is fairly expensively priced compared to competitors. For the feature phone plan offered at $50 a month (includes unlimited texts and minutes) you have the choice between the Samsung M400 or the Samsung Array. For the smartphone plan offered at $70 a month (includes unlimited texts, minutes, and data) you have the option of the choosing the LG Optimus Elite and the Samsung Victory. With similar plans from Virgin mobile or Straight Talk offering a wider variety of phones and an overall cheaper monthly price there may be some stiff competition for Sprint in the pay as you go market.
