Ever wonder what actually happens on the inside mechanics of a DSLR when the shutter button is pressed and a photo is taken? Well in reality there is probably more going on in that split second than you realize. The popular YouTube group “The Slow Mo Guys” were curious as well so they decided to shoot a Canon DSLR shutter up-close at an extremely high FPS and the results are rather impressive.
The video spans just over seven minutes and a lot of key factors discussing within both photography and videography including an easy to understand explanation of rolling shutter and its causes. I'd recommend checking out the video (I've embedded it below) for yourself if it peaks you interest, you might just learn a thing or two.
