DISH's Sling TV service has been making the effort to cut the cord with a traditional cable subscription easier than ever with their affordable solution. When we reviewed the Sling TV service back in March 2015, we found it to work exceptionally well though it lacked a lot of the popular channels that most seek from a cable service.
Since then, Sling has now signed content agreements to provide subscribers with offers from ESPN3, A&E, History Channel, Lifetime, HBO, EPIX, Cinemax and more. To make this wire-free alternative even more enticing, Sling inked a deal with Viacom Network earlier today which means BET, MTV, Comedy Central, Spike TV, Nick Jr. and more will be making their way to the service shortly.
For those looking to cut their cord, Sling TV is still running a free 7-day trial period to give the service a try for yourself.
