Eight days ago, the newest flagship from OnePlus was unveiled, and the device is turning heads thanks to a sleek new design and powerful specs. Yesterday, the device opened for pre-order starting at $479 for the base model which comes in a Slate Gray finish with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. For power users, you can opt for the upgraded model that runs $539 sporting a Midnight Black finish along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
From first glance, the OnePlus 5 closely resembles an iPhone 7+ which some might find as a downside, but it is surely an improvement over the previous generation OnePlus models. A notable element in the OnePlus 5 is the rear dual camera design much like the 7+ though at a much cheaper price-point.
Currently, the base model is ready for immediate shipment while the upgraded 8GB version is on back order and will be shipping within the next two weeks. Those interested in purchasing a OnePlus 5 can visit their website to place an order.
