When BBC and Top Gear host, Jeremy Clarkson had a major falling out back in 2015, Clarkson and his two co-stars saw an opportunity to take their talents elsewhere. While many interested parties bid for the rights to a Top Gear style spin-off, it was Jeff Bezo's Amazon empire that landed the contract valued at a whopping $250M.
The revival series has been officially dubbed The Grand Tour which follows Clarkson and his two buddies Richard Hammond and James may as they travel across the globe while driving a variety of exotic and unusual cars.
Amazon has plans to air an initial 36 episodes of The Grand Tour spanning a total of three years although I'm sure they intend to renew if the ratings live up to the hype.
Its first season will begin airing on November 18th, and an official trailer has been released on Hammond's YouTube channel which I've embedded below:
For those who want to stream the new show, it'll be available on Prime Video so you'll need to sign up for Amazon Prime which costs $99 per year and offers a lot of great benefits (they offer a free 30-day trial for new subscribers).
