Microsoft debuted their Microsoft Office Mobile for the iPhone this past summer, but many consumers were disappointed that an iPad-ready version was nowhere to be found.
According to ZDNET this aspect should change soon as the Redmond-based company has dedicated a team to tackle the tablet version which has been codenamed Miramar. The rumors speculate that it should be released sometime during the first half of 2014 and will likely be available before the Windows 8 touch-based version.
If the Microsoft Office For iPad is structured like its iPhone sibling, then you'll be required to have an active Office 365 subscription and any documents or data files will be stored on the OneDrive service (formerly SkyDrive).
