It turns out that accidental Amazon leak for Microsoft's 1TB Xbox One was proven true earlier today when the company officially unveiled the new model. Sold in a matte black finish, this variant includes double the integrated storage as well as a black or camouflage controller that offers support for third-party headsets via a 3.5mm stereo jack.
The rear bumpers have been slightly revamped to offer greater performance consistency and firmware updates can now be pushed over-the-air. As leaked earlier, this 1TB model comes bundled with a copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection as part of a limited-time launch promotion. The 1TB version will be sold for $399 in “select markets” starting on June 16th.
Microsoft also unveiled a Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 that will launch in the Fall. This accessory will be priced at $24.99 or bundled with a wireless controller for $79.95 in the US.
