Microsoft has already debuted their smaller Xbox One S console that offers limited 4K support, but they have been working behind the scenes on a more powerful console that will better compete with Sony's PS4 Pro.
Earlier today, Microsoft posted a tweet (embedded below) which confirmed that their E3 2017 keynote would give a briefing on the new console thanks to a teaser image that shows a console's motherboard with an Xbox logo and ‘4K' stamped onto the processor.

What will Project Scorpio entail? The exact details are still unclear yet with Microsoft teasing the public this far in advance, I'm going to bet their E3 keynote that is scheduled for 2 PM on June 11th should impress.
