After being acquired by Google, Nest has continued to innovate within the industry making their own buyout of Dropcam and using that IQ to manufacture and release multiple iterations of their Nest home Wi-Fi security cameras for both indoor and outdoor use.
Over the years, Nest has improved their thermostat model with thinner designs and bright, better displays yet the core functionality has stayed the same so had the price-point.
However, popular tech leaker Evan Blass aka EVLeaks has uploaded a leaked image of a new Nest thermostat model that could catch a whole new audience who are looking for the smart functionality while on a lower budget.
