Among Joel McHale's various Hollywood accolades, he is most notable for starring in Community and as the host of E!'s The Soup. As of next month, he will soon be adding his own Netflix talk show to his resume as the first episode of The Joel McHale Show Starring Joel McHale.
There isn't a whole lot we know about the show as of right now, but there are some exciting details that have been brought to light. First off, Netflix hired the executive producer from The Soup as well as the producer, Paul Feig, who was apart of Freaks and Geeks, Bridesmaids, and the latest all-female Ghostbusters.
Overall, it seems like the concept will follow The Soup in many ways as an unscripted show focused on pop culture. Judging from the teaser Joel posted on his Twitter (embedded below), it even seems to utilize a green screen. The first episode airs on February 18th.
