iMac Line Gets Updated With Haswell Processors, Available As Of Today

The iMac has been widely popular since its launch being commonly found within businesses, educational campuses, and even government facilities. Apple typically carries out a yearly revamp of the iMacs specs to stay relevant and keep their customers happy.  An announcement came from the Apple camp this morning which unveiled this year's refreshed iMac product line.

The base 21.5″ model includes a 2.7GHz quad-core i5 Haswell processor with Intel Iris Pro graphics, 8GB of RAM, 1TB HDD, and updated 802.11ac WiFi support. On the other hand, the base 27″ model includes 3.2GHz quad-core i5 Haswell processor, NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M with 1GB video memory, 8GB of RAM, 1TB HDD, and updated 802.11ac WiFi support.

The base 21.5″ iMac model starts at $1,299 and the base 27″ iMac model starts at $1,799.
