Over a year ago, Hulu announced they had plans to debut their live TV streaming service geared for use by existing Hulu subscribers and attract new cord-cutting customers to their platform. Starting at $40, Hulu Live TV will offer 50+ channels coupled with 50GB of cloud DVR storage for up to two simultaneous devices. However, Hulu will offer optional add-on packages including a bump up to 200 hours of cloud DVR storage or unlimited simultaneous devices for $15 each or both for $20.
Similar to before, you'll still need to dish out $4 for ad-free streaming of Hulu's traditional content library, and Showtime is available for an extra $9/month with more premium networks in the pipeline. Alongside the launch of the live TV streaming feature, the Hulu interface has gotten a whole new look with cleaner menus, better organization, and easier user controls.
