An unveiling of the newest HTC smartphone happened earlier today and they have confirmed the name will be the HTC One. The device has also been announced to be available on these US carriers: Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile. It will also be supported on EE, O2, and Vodafone for those of you in the UK. The prices and final release dates (anticipated to be in March) are not known yet, but the official wording on both should be happening shortly.

Here is what we know about the HTC One so far:

  • 4.7-inch 1080P Super LCD 3 display (protected by Gorilla Glass)
  • Machined aluminum uni-body
  • Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon 600 1.7GHz processor
  • 2GB RAM
  • Integrated 2,300 mAh Li-polymer battery
  • WiFi a/ax/b/g/n support
  • Bluetooth 4.0
  • 32GB or 64GB internal storage options (no microSD support)
  • 2.1-megapixel camera (front) with 88-degree wide-angle lens capable of 1080p video
  • 4-megapixel camera (back) and f/2.0 lens
  • Cameras feature optical image stabilization and HTC ImageChip 2 for HDR, 1080P, and 60fps video
