Blizzard has been taking League Of Legends head on with the release of their free to play, Heroes Of The Storm. With a simplified gameplay structure (no gold plus team-based leveling) and relatable characters from all your favorite Blizzard characters from the Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo universes.
The game has only been out of the beta stage for a few months now and is gaining some serious momentum though still far off from its LoL competition. Blizzard has been hard at work adding new content in the form of new characters and maps as well as tweaks to existing character's abilities to even out any large advantages.
This morning, HOTS received a significant update that brought forth a new character along with a slew of gameplay and graphical tweaks. The new character is the highly anticipated monk from Diablo III more formally known as Kharazim. While falls under the support category, Kharazim is capable of a great deal of damage as well as protecting his fellow teammates with abilities that focus on health regeneration.
