The San Mateo-based company unveiled a new Hero+ LCD model earlier today which takes their low-end Hero model that sells for $129 and packs on a functional touchscreen LCD the increased ability to shoot 60fps for full 1080P HD capture.
With this significant bump in features, the Hero+ LCD comes in at a higher price-point of $299 though still $100 less than its 4K-capable Hero 4 Silver and $200 less than the top-tier Hero 4 Black. Preorders are yet to be offered on the Hero+ LCD although they have announced a scheduled release date for June 7th.
We have reached out to GoPro for a review sample so stay tuned for an in-depth write-up of this model as soon as we can get our hands on one for a proper evaluation.
