Google's Glass device has gained immense popularity since its unveil, but has received both positive and negative attention from consumers. One major flaw of the design is the lack of support for those who require prescription lenses and that fact that you cannot comfortably wear both regular eyeglasses and the Glass device simultaneously.
Luckily, Google has confirmed that they will be offering prescription lenses for those who need it via a partnership with Rochester Optical. This will enable production of “custom prescription, fashion, and sport lenses for Google Glass”. Currently, there is no word on the pricing or the exact date we can expect these prescription Glasses lenses to be offered.
Stay tuned for more information as it is released.
