Google Play Adds Lifetime, A&E, and History Channel Streaming Apps

Android users can now experience the same streaming benefits as iOS users for their favorite shows found within A&E, Lifetime, and History Channel networks. Google Play has added a dedicated app for all three, bringing streaming media content to your Android device with ease.

It is important to note not all the shows found on these networks will be included with streaming content in the apps. Early user reports are stating that some shows like Top Gear USA only include short segments of episodes in comparison to a show like Swamp People, which includes a long list of full-length episodes available for your viewing pleasure.

The apps themselves allow free streaming for all, but Comcast and DirecTV subscribers can log into their cable accounts and be granted access to additional content.

Those who are interested can now download the History Channel, A&E, or Lifetime apps via Google Play.
