One of the coolest new features introduced with Google's flagship Pixel and Pixel XL models was the new AI ‘Assistant' that is touted to be a similar yet better than Siri in iOS.
While this feature has been exclusive to the Pixel line, it appears LG's upcoming release of their G6 smartphone might be the first non-Pixel device to support Assistant integration according to BusinessKorea.
If this ends up being the case, it could potentially open up more partnerships for Google's AI feature with non-native smartphone models though at the cost of taking away some of the competitive allure from Google's current flagship devices.
Rumors are also circulating that Assistant will be included on LG's new Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches which are expected to be announced next month, so the possibility of LG and Google working together on the G6 is likely.
