Google Home Can Now Recognize Up To Six Users By Voice

The Google Home has been successful since launch although it is still trying to catch up to the more established product in this space, Amazon's Echo. Today, Google announced a new feature that offers a unique competitive advantage that may be enough allure to attract new customers.

A new firmware update allows the Google Home to configure and save up to six different voices. This feature grants the personal assistant device the ability to distinguish who is speaking to it on the fly and give them personalized feedback including individual schedules, commute/traffic reports and more.

This update has begun rolling out today for Google Home users located in the U.S. although U.K. users will have to wait for expanded support due in the coming months.
