One of the single biggest complaints with prospective buyers of the new iPhone 7/7 Plus has been the removal of the headphone jack. While the lightning port still offers the ability to use wired headphones by way of an affordable adapter that comes with new iPhone, that isn't enough for some users who want the potential to charge while they listen to music.
As of right now, the only way to accomplish this would be to couple the Belkin Lightning Audio + Charge Rockstar Adapter with the included Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter thus making for a rather cumbersome setup of wires yet achieving the ability to charge your phone while listening to a pair of standard 3.5mm headphones.
Since this isn't an ideal solution for most, a company has taken to the crowdfunding platform, Indiegogo, with a unique new iPhone 7/7 Plus case which is said to conveniently solve this dilemma quite well. The Fuze case is the first protective solution for the new line of iPhones which not only offers an integrated Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter internally but also harnesses a built-in battery of 2,400 mAh for the iPhone 7 and 3,600 mAh for the iPhone 7 Plus.
Beyond these two major selling points, the Fuze case is designed to remain slim and is constructed out of durable TPU and ABS plastics. There are five primary color options to choose from: White, Black, Gold, Rose Gold or Blue. At this point in the campaign, they raised $63,560 which is 127% of their initial fundraising goal of $50K.
The earlier discounted tiers are sold out, but you can still pre-order a single Fuze Case for $69 or a combo pack of two Fuze Cases for just $109. If everything goes according to plan, the company expects to ship their first backer's orders in December of this year.
