ESPN Will Soon Broadcast ‘FIFA’ eSports Tournaments

While the general public and media still depict eSports as just a hobby for geeks and not within the same realm as traditional sports, many big names in both Hollywood and the business world are investing into the industry before it hits the mainstream.

The journey to public acceptance is coming closer than ever after EA has announced a partnership with ESPN and its subsidiaries to broadcast FIFA 17 tournaments on their mainstream TV networks. This agreement comes just a year after the decision to add a dedication eSports section to the ESPN website.

Here is the official list of FIFA tournament air times on ESPN according to EA:
