Dell's new XPS 13 has been a big hit with consumers who are looking for a small, thin laptop with some power under the hood. Dell has just added a new XPS 13 Developer Edition, which ships running Ubuntu Linux 14.04. This model runs on Intel's newest Skylake chipset in addition to harnessing 16GB of RAM and a Quad HD+ touchscreen display though it does start at a hefty $1550 price-point.
The Round Rock-based company has also added Ubuntu OS options for their Precision 3510, 5510, 7510 or 7710 mobile workstations. While Linux isn't a must-have for most consumers, Dell's desire to cater to those who need it is both convenient and appreciated. Those interested in picking up one of their new models running Linux, you can now purchase them via their website.
