Classic Adventure Game ‘Myst’ Gets Ported To Android

One of my favorite games of all-time was the classic adventure title known as Myst. It consisted of a first-person journey through an interactive world that promotion exploration and logical thinking to complete the storyline. Myst went on to become one of the best-selling PC games up until 2002 (The Sims eventually surpassed it).

With technology advancing and gaming becoming such a powerhouse in the tech industry of today, there are now many ways to still enjoy the classic title. Whether it be on a PC, a traditional gaming console like the PlayStation or through a mobile device like the iPhone or as of today, Android.

A mobile studio by the name of Noodlecake is responsible for the latest port to Google's mobile operating system in conjunction with the original title created by Cyan. The app is dubbed realMyst, and beyond the classic game elements, it is said to have improvement like “dynamic environments,” an integrated hint guide (the original offered no hints or objectives) and ‘bookmarks' which allow you to save and store game progress.

Priced at $6.99, playing Myst on your Android device isn't exactly a bargain although there are no in-game purchases offered, so you'll get full access to all of the features right from the start.
