Canon’s New Entry-Level 750D & 760D DSLR Models Leak

Canon is on the verge of some big announcements regarding their DSLR camera line including a highly anticipated high-MP DSLR for professional photographers (leaks suggest it will be called the 5Ds). Today, we got word that two new entry-level DSLR models leaked online and here is what we know so far:

Canon 750D

  • Successor to the current T5i (aka 700D), potentially dubbed the T6i
  • No top LCD panel similar to the current Rebel line
  • 24.5MP sensor
  • DIGIC 6 image processor
  • Flicker Detection Technology
  • Hybrid CMOS AF III
  • ISO range of 100-12,800
  • Full 1080P HD video capabilities
  • 5fps burst shooting
  • Integrated Wi-Fi and NFC support
  • 19-cross type AF points

Canon 760D

  • Model targeted between current T5i and 70D models
  • Has a top LCD panel similar to 70D
  • Quick control dial on back
  • 24.5MP sensor
  • DIGIC 6 image processor
  • Flicker Detection Technology
  • Hybrid CMOS AF III
  • ISO range of 100-12,800
  • Full 1080P HD video capabilities with creative movie modes
  • 5fps burst shooting
  • Integrated Wi-Fi and NFC support
  • 19-cross type AF points
