A statement from AT&T has come forward regarding the official availability date of the BlackBerry Q10 for their customers which will be June 21st. This date is later than competing carriers such as T-Mobile and Verizon, who both began shipping the Q10 a few weeks back.
Here is the official statement from AT&T:
AT&T is pleased to add the BlackBerry Q10 smartphone to our growing BlackBerry portfolio,” said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president – Devices, AT&T. “The combination of AT&T's blazing fast 4G LTE network and the BlackBerry Q10 smartphone's improved physical keyboard and touchscreen will help you stay productive and efficient on-the-go.
Pre-orders have already begun for the Q10 via the AT&T website with pricing at $199.99 and a new 2-year service commitment. If you're an AT&T customer interested in picking up the new BlackBerry smartphone, you can pre-order one online or visit your local AT&T retailer on June 21st though quantities will likely be limited so plan accordingly.
AT&T is said to also be running a temporary promotion allowing consumers to trade in their current smartphones in exchange for at least $100 off the purchase of a new one, including the BlackBerry Q10. Further details on this promotion are unknown at this time so stay tuned!
