An announcement from AT&T came yesterday which confirmed that Android 4.1 Jelly Bean has become available for HTC One X users. Owners of this model can manually check for the update while on Wi-Fi by accessing Applications>Settings>About Phone>Check for Update. Changes found within this update include new features like Google Now and it also implements changes to the notifications. With Jelly Bean users will now be able to view full text messages and photos from the notification window. For those of you who love taking “selfies” (aka photos of yourself taken by yourself), Android 4.1 will now help by offering a countdown timer for the phone's front-facing camera. I know some of you have other Android devices and are awaiting compatibility with Jelly Bea, but don't get upset. AT&T added that they will be rolling out the Jelly Bean update to more devices in the coming months so be patient and hang in there until it is your turn.
