Apple's yearly WWDC event is not taking place until Monday, but that didn't stop Apple from throwing up a promotional banner with the number ‘7' clearly on it. Has Apple officially confirmed what this magic ‘7' signifies yet? No, but we can all safely assume that it is referring to iOS 7, the newest firmware for their mobile devices.  Last year, they released iOS 6 at this same event so it would make a lot of sense for the company to release the next installment under the same circumstances.

With so much competition coming from Samsung, Google, and Blackberry, the smart phone market is as competitive as it has ever been. It is inevitable for Apple to release their iOS 7 firmware at WWDC to keep up with the user's demand and the expanding market. According to sources, iOS 7 will have a revamped interface that will give the software a new “look and feel” unlike its predecessors. As for the new features iOS 7 will being, we just have to wait until its official unveil on Monday.

Stay tuned for a full recap of what went down during the WWDC event on Monday night!
