The launch of Apple Music was a big step for the Cupertino-based company to compete better against streaming services like Spotify or Rdio, who have lured customers away from their traditional iTunes music purchases.
While the success of Apple Music is too early to determine, the service snagged over 11M free-trial users so it will be interesting to see how many stick around when the first round of subscription charges roll in.
Despite this, Apple has been pushing forward with improvements to the service and are even on the verge of releasing Android support as some leaked screenshots suggest. While the captured images are from a German resource, they do look to showcase an Android-friendly version of Apple Music complete with the slide-out sidebars that are common among the Android UI.
