TechCrunch has reported that Apple will be holding their invite-only iPad event on October 22nd. This is refreshing news for those of us who have held out to get the latest and greatest Apple tablet or if you're like me, you've been patiently waiting for the iPad Mini with a Retina screen.
While it is unconfirmed that the iPad Mini will in fact harness a Retina screen, it seems very likely especially with such a large presence of users who have shown interest in purchasing one. Rumors going around the web have also suggested the new iPad models will include both the TouchID sensor that is on the iPhone 5s and will be offered in the same Space Grey, Gold, & Silver color options.
Additionally, Apple will likely be discussing their new Mac Pro (which oddly resembles a trash can) in more detail as well as supply further information on the release of OS X Mavericks whom was just pushed out to developers in its final form. If all goes accordingly, I'd guess that OS X Mavericks will launch on the 22nd or within the few days following the event.
