Many Mac users have grown to love Apple's wireless peripherals like their Magic Mouse and wireless keyboard due to their elegant design and simplistic form-factor. The Cupertino-based company has just filed paperwork with the FCC hinting at the future release of an updated Magic Mouse 2 and redesigned wireless keyboard.
Apple has yet to announce these new products publically, but we do know the devices will get an upgrade from Bluetooth 2.0 to Bluetooth 4.1 which will most notably affect the overall power consumption. There is also reason to believe that these new devices would swap out their existing AA battery requirements for an integrated lithium-ion battery with some method of charging them periodically.
Stay tuned for any more updates regarding these revised peripherals.
