Back in September, Apple officially announced the Apple Watch during their September iPhone 6 & 6 Plus event with an anticipated release date sometime this April. Since then, we haven't heard much about the product with no concrete release date, pricing, or pre-order information being released.
This morning, Apple sent out the following email to select media outlets, inviting them to a private Apple press event that will take place on March 9th:
While it is safe to assume the event will primarily deal with the unreleased wearable device, but there is potential for some Mac-related announcements including the highly anticipated Retina MacBook Air.
