When Apple announced their partnership with Nintendo to bring the Mario franchise to iOS, it left Android users in the dark. The Cupertino-based company offered the title exclusively until now as Android is prepping for their release on Google Play in just a few days.
While Super Mario Run is a rather simple concept, it offers a great way for gaming fans to stay in touch with the franchise and challenge their friends to beat their highest score. The launch coincides with the 2.0 app update which expands the in-game content and introduces new ways for free players to get more out of the game without having to pull out their wallets.
