Amazon has been on top of the business world lately with their expansion into new ventures and current market domination with both their AWS infrastructure and their Alexa voice assistants. The most recent Echo Show device to be released was the first of Amazon's voice assistant line-up to offer a screen for a viewing and with this came support for viewing live video feeds from smart home Wi-Fi cameras.
In a press release posted earlier today, Amazon is bringing this same functionality to their Fire TV, 2nd-gen Fire TV sticks and Fire TV Edition Smart TVs in the near future. Support for most of the popular home camera systems including the Ring, Arlo, Nest, EZVIZ, Vivint Smart Home, Amcrest, Logitech, and August. Beyond this support for home cameras, the Fire TV line can now be controlled via voice commands when paired with your Echo.
