Sony's PXW-FS5 has been a hit with filmmakers due to its affordable pricing, small form-factor, and competitive features especially when coupled with the RAW license along with a compatible external recorder.
Up until recently, Sony has been selling the FS5 has been selling for $5,749 as a standalone body. With intense competition coming from Canon's C200 and Panasonic's EVA1 cameras which are both priced in the same ballpark, a steep $1,000 rebate is now available for any prospective FS5 customers.
